WorldLink Communications, one of the country's largest internet service providers, has partnered with PUBG Mobile, the renowned online game, to provide a better gaming experience for gamers in Nepal.
In an event organised in Kathmandu on Sunday, Paarth Sharma, assistant producer of Tencent South Asia Publishing – the parent company of PUBG Mobile and Keshav Nepal, Chief Executive Officer of WorldLinks Communications signed the memorandum of understanding on behalf of their respective companies.
Under the agreement, the partnering companies will share information and technology to upgrade the digital infrastructure of WorldLink to make it more compatible with PUBG gaming.
Till now, Nepali users had to rely on the digital infrastructure of PUBG designed for other countries due to which they have been experiencing frequent disturbance and latency during the gameplay, said Sharma.
“However, as per the partnership, the game developers will also make adjustments in the digital structure of the game to make it more compatible with the networks and devices in Nepal” added Sharma.
Moreover, WorldLink and PUBG will also jointly host national and local level tournaments to groom and encourage professional gamers in Nepal. (PR)
