Digital Pradesh Sambad to be held in all seven provinces
Government officials, people’s representatives and other stakeholders and representatives from non-government agencies will be a part of the discussion.Post Report
Digital Pradesh Sambad, a programme to discuss the status and issues of information technology, is set to begin on Monday from Koshi Province.
The discussion, under the initiation of the ICT Foundation Nepal, will also be held in the remaining six provinces of the country. Government officials, people’s representatives and other stakeholders and representatives from non-government agencies will be a part of the discussion.
“Discussions will be held on the digital situation of the respective provinces, policies, and action plans to be taken in the future,” said Razan Lamsal, president of ICT Foundation Nepal.
“The programme this year will focus on how capable the province is for digital transformation.”
The programmes in the provinces will be held at the respective provincial capitals. While the programmes in Madhesh will be held on Wednesday, they will be organised in Bagmati on Friday.
According to the organisers, the events in the Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces will be held next month. (PR)
