Chain hotel Shinta Mani makes foray into Nepal

Kathmandu-based Sherpa Hospitality Group, a subsidiary of Yeti World and owners of the Moksha Mustang Resort, have signed an MoU with Bangkok Based HMDAsia to re-develop Moksha Mustang as their first internationally flagged Shinta Mani Hotel.
HMDAsia is an investment, development and management organisation of boutique hotels and destination restaurants and bars in Southeast Asia. The 29 room Shinta Mani Mustang Resort will be managed by its owners, Sherpa Hospitality Group and is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of this year. The resort will be developed as an all-inclusive experience, with the guest’s journey curated to provide the most remarkable 360 degree, luxury experience in the Himalayas. Room, air-transfers, activities, spa, food and beverage are all included in the package — the only thing guests will pay extra for are the helicopter tours.
Guests will fly from Pokhara or Kathmandu to Jomsom which is at an altitude of 2,700 metres, from which it is a short drive to the resort. Rates at the Shinta Mani Mustang Resort for the all-inclusive programme will start from $1,500 per night.
