Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has slashed the prices of petroleum products on Tuesday.

According to NOC Spokesperson Mukunda Prasad Ghimire, the NOC has cut Rs2 on the prices for petrol, diesel and kerosene.

Under the new tariff petrol will now cost Rs 97 per litre while diesel and kerosene each costs Rs73.

Likewise, the NOC has reduced Rs25 on the price of LPG per cylinder, which will now retail for Rs1,375. 

The national oil monopoly revised the prices due to decrease of fuel prices in international market.

The new price set by the NOC will be effective from 12 am tonight.
