Floods, landslides kill 26 in a week
Government said 26 persons have died across the country due to rain-induced floods and landslides.

Government said 26 persons have died across the country due to rain-induced floods and landslides.
Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa on Wednesday informed the House of Representatives meeting about the number of casualties and injured in floods and landslides. Thapa said 18 districts are most affected by the calamities.
Some of the injured are in critical condition, Thapa informed. He added government has deployed teams for providing rescue and relief in the affected areas.
The number of district wise deaths caused by floods and landslides as informed by the home minister:
Banke: 4
Rolpa: 3
Sindhuli: 2
Kailali: 1
Chitwan: 1
Parsa: 2
Kathmandu: 1
Sarlahi: 2
Tanahun: 2
Udaypur: 1
Siraha: 1
Dang: 1
Makwanpur: 2
Mahottari: 1
Bardiya: 1
