The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has nominated Nepali journalist Subina Shrestha on the 2016 News & Current Affairs categories.  

Subina Shrestha, Aljazeera's Nepal-based correspondent reported on Nepal Earthquake and its aftermath.

The winners of the Emmy Awards will be announced in New York on September 21, at a Ceremony at Rose Hall, at Lincoln Center. The international Emmy winners will be recognised alongside their American news and documentary peers.
