A famous tourist destination on the outskirts of Kathmandu—Chandragiri—can now be accessed through cable car.
A privately-owned company — Kathmandu Fun Park Ltd has brought the service in operation. The company tested the operation of cable cars on Saturday.
Chandragiri is a hill station that is popular for hiking.
The cable car stations are located at Thankot and on top of Chandragiri hill.
