Saptari should be in eastern state of Madhes: Gachhadar

Gachhadar expressed his dissatisfaction as the leaders are nearing a consensus to incorporate Saptari in a separate state of Madhes. He said Saptari should be incorporated in the eastern state.
According to sources, Gachhadar is of the view that if Saptari is included in eastern Madhes state, three districts—Jhapa, Morang and Sunsari—too should be merged in Madhes state.
Ruling coalition partners Nepali Congress and CPN-UML are positive about Gachhadar’s proposal.
