During an interaction with fresh section officers under Foreign Ministry, at his office, on Wednesday, President Yadav said the national interests should be the first priority of the civil servants. The officers were imparted diplomatic training at the Institute of Foreign Affairs.
Saying that diplomacy is a deep subject, he urged the fresh officers to keep abreast with country's foreign policy and work with fortitude.
On the occasion, Institute Director Dr Rhishiraj Adhikari apprised the President of the Institute's activities.
Eight section officers including two women are attending the three-month on the job training.
