A team of Nepal Army bomb squad from 21 Battalion has arrived on the scene to figure out the suspicious object after the police surmised that the object could be a bomb, Damak Police Inspector Bhim Silwal informed.
Inspector Silwal said that they suspected that it could be a bomb after they saw a pressure cooker along with wires placed suspiciously behind the police office at around 12 pm in a zebra bag.
The police are investigating to find the persons involved in placing the object.
Meanwhile, different teams of police have been mobilised to monitor suspicious individuals in various parts of the area.
