Baby ‘stolen’ from Thapathali Maternity Hospital

A 26-day-old baby went missing from Maternity Hospital in Thapathali on Friday.
According to Superintendent of Police Nawaraj Adhikari, also spokesperson for the district police range, a Kavre local Sabina Shrestha’s 26-day-old child was allegedly ‘stolen’ from the hospital.
Shrestha was heading towards a dustbin to discard her trash when a strange woman approached her, offering to help her carry her baby.
The woman was nowhere to be found when Shrestha returned, police said.
Police are on the lookout for the accused.
