One killed, 13 injured as microbus crashes in Tanahun

A woman died and 13 others were injured when a microbus met with an accident at Eklephant in Aanbukhaireni Rural Municipality-2, Tanahun, on Tuesday afternoon.
The Area Police Office, Aanbukhaireni, said that the accident occurred at around 12:20 pm when the electric microbus, travelling from Chitwan to Lamjung, lost control and hit a roadside wall before colliding with a parked vehicle of Nepal Electricity Authority.
Fifty-five-year-old Budhamaya Tamang of Bharatpur-16, who sustained serious injuries, died while undergoing treatment at hospital, police said.
Police said the injured are receiving treatment at Aanbukhaireni Hospital.
