A landslide near Huindekhola in ward 3 of Gaindakot Municipality blocked the Kaligandaki Corridor road on Tuesday morning, disrupting travel.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhu Nepal of the District Police Office, Nawalparasi East, efforts are underway to clear the debris and restore traffic flow.

The obstruction has stranded passengers travelling from Gaindakot to Palpa and vice versa.

The Kaligandaki Corridor has recently become a preferred alternative to the East-West Highway, which has seen frequent traffic congestion and challenging road conditions due to dust and mud.
