Boy drowns in fish pond

A 17-year-old boy drowned in a fish pond at ward 6 of Palungtar Municipality in Gorkha district on Sunday.
Police identified the deceased as Bipin Nepali of Kalamata in the district.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Kumar Shrestha, the incident happened while Nepali and four of his friends were swimming in the pond.
The body was taken to the district hospital for postmortem.
