Two killed and one injured in a landslide in Baglung

Two people were killed while another one sustained injuries in a landslide triggered by continuous rainfall at Nisikhola Rural Municipality Ward No. 5 in Baglung district. The incident occurred at around 2 am on Saturday.
"Two boys aged six and 14 died in the landslide," said Deputy Superintendent Rajendra Regmi, Information Officer at Baglung District Police Office. "The mother of the 14-year-old boy has sustained injuries."
She has been taken to Primary Health Centre in Burtibang for treatment, Regmi added.
Police personnel from Jhinwakhola Area Police Office and locals carried out the rescue works on Saturday morning.
