Barma is new captain of national women’s cricket team

Allrounder Indu Barma will succeed Rubina Chhetry as Nepal national women’s team captain when they travel to Hong Kong to take part in the Hong Kong T20I Quadrangular Series this month.
Bindu Rawal will be Barma’s deputy, said Cricket Association of Nepal, which also announced a 14-member final squad for the Hong Kong tour.
Chhetry and former captain Sita Rana Magar will also travel with the squad where Kanchan Shrestha, Somu Bista and Soni Pakhrin have made their cut for the first time.
Roma Thapa and Sangita Rai have made comebacks.
Apsari Begam, Kabita Joshi, Kabita Kunwar—who were in Nepal's ICC Women’s T20 Asia Region Qualifier that was held in August and September this year—have been dropped.
Nepal begin their Hong Kong tour playing against Tanzania on November 15. They play hosts Hong Kong on November 16 and Japan on November 18.
