The Taragaon Museum in Bouddha is currently hosting artist Bishal Manandhar’s solo art exhibition, titled Emotional Walls. The paintings up on display are the depiction of the earthquakes and the indelible marks they left with us.
“The artworks are my attempt to depict Nepal after the quake. I have weaved the elements of fear and the haplessness into my works,” said artist Bishal Manandhar.
“Manandhar’s works are aesthetic evidences of one of Nepal’s most fearful days,” said artist Navendra Limbu. “The artworks are infused with traces of tragedies and memories of those trying times. The artworks are all the more watchable given the shrewd use of metaphors.”
The exhibit will be on till Monday, July 4.
