‘Chhakka Panja 5’ and ‘Khusma’ win at INFA

The second International Nepali Film Awards (INFA), held in London, honoured actors, directors, and technicians for their notable contributions t the Nepali film industry.
This year, Upasana Singh Thakuri won the Best Actress award for her performance in the film ‘Khusma’. Likewise, Pradeep Khadka was declared Popular Actor for his role in ‘Pitambar’.
The Best Film Award was presented to ‘Chhakka Panja 5’, and the Best Director Award went to Deepa Shree Niraula. Best Actor was given to Bijay Baral for ‘Purna Bahadurko Sarangi’. Deepak Raj Giri was given the Best Screenplay Award for ‘Chhakka Panja 5’.
Likewise, the Best Supporting Actress Award went to Srijana Subba for ‘Anjila’ and Richa Ghimire for ‘Tel Visa’. The New Actor Award was given to Bibek Karmacharya for ‘Var & Vadhu’ and the New Actress Award to Srijana Ninglekhu.
Best Singer Female Award went to Shanti Shree Pariyar for ‘Rukumaiko Kot’, and Best Singer (Male) went to Ashish Aviral for ‘Raiya Chandiko’.
Popular Actor Award went to Pradeep Khadka for ‘Pitambar’ and Actress Swastima Khadka for ‘Behuli From Meghauli’. Deepak Raj Giri and Neeta Dhungana received the Public Choice Award.
Best Director Award went to Milan Chams for ‘Anjila’, Best Actor Mahesh Tripathi for ‘Laaj Sharanam’, Best Actress Diya Maskey for ‘Karsang’ and Comedy Actor of the Year was given to Kedar Prasad Ghimire.
‘Purna Bahadurko Sarangi’ was given the Blockbuster Movie of the Year Award.
