Dusit Princess Kathmandu celebrates cake-mixing ceremony

Dusit Princess Kathmandu hosted its Annual Cake-Mixing Ceremony on Friday. Guests, including Suwapong Sirisorn, the Thai ambassador to Nepal, and Suphajee Suthumpun, CEO of Dusit International Group, graced the event.
The ceremony, which lasted an hour, brought together distinguished guests, influencers, ambassadors, media personalities and likewise for a tradition symbolising prosperity and good fortune. The cake mixture prepared during the event will be used to create special Christmas and New Year cakes, as shared by Prathana Sen, the hotel’s marketing manager. “The Cake Mixing Ceremony is a symbol of prosperity and good luck. Guests will also receive the mixture as a token of love,” Sen said.
Following the ceremony, attendees dined on a Nepali-Thai cuisine lunch, complemented by drinks and live music. One of the guests, Bhawana Rana, shared, “The Cake Mixing Ceremony indicates the start of Christmas and New Year. It’s a fun and interactive way to connect with people.”
