Continuous rainfall for three days since Thursday caused water levels to rise in major rivers, including the Bagmati, Karmanasha, Nakkhu, and Godavari in Lalitpur, leading to recent flooding that has affected local settlements.

Efforts are underway to clear the roads blocked by flood debris using excavators, while medical personnel work to disinfect the affected areas.
