Victims of microfinance companies, who have been protesting for months, organised a demonstration at New Baneshwar in the Capital on Wednesday.

A minor scuffle took place between security personnel and the protesters, as the demonstrators tried to breach the police barricade placed at New Baneshwar chowk.

The police tried to stop the protestors, who wanted to go toward the parliament building to stage a sit-in.

The victims of microfinance institutions, who have been agitating for 7 months, have come to Kathmandu from all over the country for the latest demonstration.
