Hindu and Buddhist devotees thronged the Balaju Park on Thursday to take part in the annual ritual shower at the Baisdhara.
The festival, also known as “Balaju Baisdhara Mela”, is celebrated on the full moon day in the Nepali month of Chaitra.
Buddhist devotees from the Tamang community come to the water sprouts in the park a day after the “Temal Jatra” to take part in the annual festival.
