Province 2 has been hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. As of Thursday evening, it had reported 2,898 cases of the coronavirus, the highest for a province.
Rautahat district alone has recorded 1,105 cases, the highest for a district.
Earlier this month, Post photographer Prakash Chandra Timilsena visited five out of eight districts in the province. There were fears of the virus and hunger among the locals but they were attempting to go about their lives the best they could.
Timilsena provides a glimpse of life in Province 2 under the shadow of the pandemic.
