Christmas celebrated in Kathmandu
Nepali people, despite a majority of them are Hindu, has jumped into the bandwagon of celebrating Christmas recently. Although people adopting Christian faith accounts for only 1.42 percent of the population, people from other faith have been taking the festival for merrymaking.Published at : December 25, 2017

Nepali people, despite a majority of them are Hindu, has jumped into the bandwagon of celebrating Christmas recently. Although people adopting Christian faith accounts for only 1.42 percent of the population, people from other faith have been taking the festival for merrymaking.
Restaurants, shopping complexes and major thoroughfare were decked up with glittering lights decorated in Xmas tree signaling the arrival of festival. The government had declared the Christmas Day as a public holiday.
