Khanal, who went to the Forest Ministry to invite Minister Sapkota for an interaction programme of Chure area lawmakers, had a half an hour long heated argument with the minister yesterday.
The dispute rose after Minister Sapkota questioned Khanal, how did he (Khanal) organise the programme without seeking permission from the Minister. A source said that Khanal tried to clarify that the programme fell under the annual plan. However, the Minister did not pay heed to Khanal’s clarification saying that he (Khanal) was not cooperative.
The interaction programme being organised by the Chure Tarai Madhes Conservation Committee is scheduled for December 1.
