The Nepal women’s national football team has reached the final of 12th South Asian games after playing a draw against India on Friday.

The Nepal women’s national football team has reached the final of 12th South Asian games after playing a draw against India on Friday.
Nepal ended a five game losing streak against India drawing today’s game held at Nehru sports complex in India. With this, Nepal has seven points in the Round Robin league that qualifies for a place in 12th SAG Women’s football finals with one game still to play.
Bangladesh is trailing Nepal with six points followed by India who have managed to secure five points from three games.
Nepal will play Sri Lanka and the hosts will play Bangladesh in the last match of the league on Saturday. The winner of India-Bangladesh game will determine Nepal’s opponent in the finals.
