District Police Office, Rupandehi seized customs-evaded goods smuggled from India on Tuesday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Laxmi Khanal, spokesperson for the District Police Office, said the goods, valued at Rs1.15 million, were confiscated in ward 4 of Omsatiya Rural Municipality.
The items included 30 mobile phone sets, 70 pairs of shoes, eight cartons of chocolates, four sacks of paper, and 70 kg of flowers and plants.
The goods have been sent to the Bhairahawa Customs Office for further action.
