Van-hit kills cyclist in Bara

A cyclist was killed after being struck by a pick-up van on the Simraungadh-Tamagadhi road section in Bara district on Sunday.
According to Sub-Inspector Lalu Yadav, the 55-year-old man from ward 8 of Maulapur Municipality in Rautahat died on the spot.
Police have detained Sajan Chaudhary and Prince Jaiswal, both from ward 1 of Kolhavi Municipality and have impounded the vehicle involved in the incident.
An investigation is underway.
