Police seized five tractors which were used in extracting sand illegally in ward 3 of Parsagadhi Municipality in Parsa district on Thursday.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team from the Area Police Office in Paterwa Sugauli impounded the vehicles loaded with sand from the Bhedaha stream on Thursday morning.
“Further investigation is going on after taking the vehicles under control,” said Police Inspector Ramraja Keshari.
