Balendra Shah’s election expenses total Rs1.4 million

Senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Balendra Shah, has submitted his election expense report to the Election Commission.
According to the details he submitted to the commission on Monday, his total election expenditure amounted to Rs1,417,289.
Shah reported that his highest expense was incurred during a 15-day ward-level door-to-door campaign, for which he spent Rs580,000.
His lowest expense was for candidacy registration, which cost Rs10,000, according to the report submitted to the commission.
