RSP secures 100 FPTP seats, crosses one million PR votes

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has confirmed victories in 100 first-past-the-post (FPTP) constituencies.
According to the latest results, the party is also leading in 25 more constituencies. In proportional representation (PR) votes, RSP has crossed 1.13 million, consolidating its dominant position.
The Nepali Congress is second with 15 FPTP wins and 374,263 PR votes, while the CPN-UML has seven FPTP seats and 300,364 PR votes. The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has six FPTP wins and 134,774 PR votes.
Smaller parties and independents have won three seat and received varying shares of PR votes.
