NOC hikes petrol price by Rs2, diesel and kerosene by Rs1 per litre
Petrol will now cost Rs159 and diesel Rs143 per litre in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal.

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased fuel prices, raising the price of petrol by Rs2 per litre and diesel and kerosene by Rs1 per litre, effective from Saturday midnight.
Following the revision, petrol will now cost Rs159 per litre and diesel and kerosene Rs143 per litre in Category C areas, which include Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal.
In Category B areas, including Surkhet and Dang, petrol will be priced at Rs158 per litre and diesel and kerosene at Rs142 per litre. Meanwhile, in Category A areas—Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj—petrol will cost Rs156.50 and diesel and kerosene Rs140.50 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of aviation fuel has been reduced. NOC said the price has been lowered by Rs3 per litre for domestic flights and by USD 22 per kilolitre for international flights.
