Chinese President Xi Jingpng has said that the People’s Republic of China is committed to keep intact the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Nepal.
President Xi’s remark came during a meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Great Hall of People in Beijing on Wednesday.
During the meeting, President Xi expressed gratitude towards Nepal for maintaining the One China policy and not letting anti-China activities to occur in Nepali territory.
President Xi also expressed his happiness over Nepal promulgating a new constitution and moving towards stability by adopting a new social order through the recently held elections.
PM Oli and Chinese President Xi had held a 45-minute long one-to-one meeting prior to the meeting of delegations of both the nations. During the meeting, issues ranging from bilateral interest and exchange of cooperation were discussed, it is learnt.
Likewise, President Xi also said that China is always ready to help and partner-up in the development of Nepal.
Similarly, PM Oli congratulated the Chinese President for being elected for a second five-year term.
