Nembang appointed NCP’s deputy PP leader, Gurung chief whip
The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has appointed Subash Chandra Nembang as the Parliamentary Party deputy leader and Dev Gurung has been appointed the chief whip of the newly formed party.

The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has appointed Subash Chandra Nembang as the Parliamentary Party deputy leader and Dev Gurung has been appointed the chief whip of the newly formed party.
A meeting of the NCP Parliamentary Party held in New Baneshwor on Wednesday decided to appoint Nembang as the deputy leader of the House of Representatives and Gurung as the chief whip.
Similarly, the meeting has decided to appoint Shanta Chaudhary as the whip, the NCP informed.
Prior to party unification, Nembang was the deputy leader of the then CPN-UML’s Parliamentary Party and Gurung was the Chief Whip of the then CPN (Maoist Centre).
Likewise, lawmaker Dinanath Sharma has been appointed NCP Parliamentary Party deputy leader in the National Assembly.
