Second phase polls concludes in 45 districts (With photos)
The voting of the second phase of the federal parliament and provincial assembly elections has commenced in 45 districts on Thursday.The voting of the second phase of the federal parliament and provincial assembly elections has concluded in 45 districts on Thursday.
Voting began at 7 am and officially concluded at 5 pm. However, people queuing before 5 am will be allowed to vote.
Voters carrying identity cards had poured into polling stations from early in the morning as the country started voting. They eagerly queued for their turn to vote.
Voters cast their vote by producing voter's ID card. In case of voter's identity card being lost or not available, other government documents such as citizenship card, driving licence, passport or any other documents with photo specifying his or her identity like land owership certificate can be used to cast votes.
