A complaint has been filed against former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Nawaraj Silwal on Friday.
Bikas Singh Tamang filed the complaint against Silwal citing the latter is not eligible to contest the election, according to constituency-1 election officer Suresh Raj Khanal.
CPN-UML leader Silwal has filed his candidacy for upcoming federal parliamentary election from Lalitpur Constituency-1.
Tamang is running for federal parliamentary poll as an independent candidate from the same constituency.
