Two tenth graders of Himganga Higher Secondary at Sanghutar in Ramechhap district died of poison consumption on Thursday evening. 

It is learnt that both the students had consumed the poisonous substances during the school's midday break time. They died on the way to the district headquarters, Manthali, for treatment. 

Schoolteacher Ganesh Bakhrel said that Rita Shrestha, 16, of Sanghutar VDC-4 and Tikamaya Budhathoki, 17, of Yesam VDC-1 of Okhaldhunga district had consumed the poison named Novan after buy from Sanghutar bazaar during school's midday break time. The reason behind the poison consumption is not confirmed yet.
