Police, acting on a tipoff of the locals, first raided their place after keeping a close eye on their activities and arrested them today from their residence.
Sushma Rai, 25, and her husband Santosh Katuwal, 30, originally hailing from mountainous district, Sankhuwasabha and Bhojour respectively, had been allegedly running the flesh trade in the rented place for sometimes.
According to Govindaraj Kafle, Police Inspector at the Ward Police Office, Morang, the arrested couple had been housing some ladies at their place feigning them as their relatives who would get them business.
Police, of late, have been active in curbing such activities in the district. RSS
