Dal Bahadur Kumal, 62, of Bidur Municipality-5, Pipaltar, died on the spot after a mini-truck ( Ba 3 Kha) heading to Kathmandu from Battar Bazaar of the district knocked down Kumal.

Police have arrested the truck driver, Binod Dangol, for necessary action.

Meanwhile, the locals have disrupted the Pashang Lhamu Highway demanding fair investigation into the incident, compensation to the family of the deceased, and construction of speed breakers at the market area.
