Made in the Czech Republic, the LET 410 will be put into commercial operation after formalities have been completed at the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal. Goma Air plans to import two more LET 410s to expand its services.

The carrier currently operates regular and charter services to airfields in remote and mountainous areas like Lukla, Surkhet, Bajura, Rara, Dolpa, Jumla and Humla with one LET 410 and two Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft. With the latest addition to its fleet, it plans to operate flights to Jomsom, Mustang and Hum-de, Manang from Pokhara besides increasing the frequency on the Lukla sector.

“We have fulfilled the promise we made to our valued customers when importing the first LET 410 aircraft last October. The satisfaction of our customers after flying on the LET 410 and the immense market has encouraged us to import a second aircraft in such a short period,” said Bikash Rana, chairman of Goma Air.
