A meeting of Constituent Assembly has been summoned for 5:30 on Tuesday evening. CA Chairman Subas Nembang called the meeting by informing the Legislature-Parliament as provisioned in the Interim Constitution.
The five-day deadline given by the CA to Constitution Drafting Committee to prepare a Bill of new constitution ended on Monday. As CDC failed to conclude its task within the deadline, CA Chair summoned the meeting to discuss the matter. 
It is speculated that the meeting is likely to extend the deadline given to CDC.
Meanwhile, the CDC could not finalise its report in time as the top leaders could not forge agreement on state demarcation, among other issues.
