A moderate aftershock jolted the country on Wednesday after no recorded seismic activity for four days, according to the National Seismological Centre.
The aftershock, measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale, shook various parts of the country, including the Capital. With the epicenter in Dolakha district, the aftershock was recorded to have struck at 1:59 pm, the Centre informed.
Four days ago, a 4.2 magnitude aftershock with an epicentre in Sindhupalchok district, had jolted various part of the country.
Aftershocks continue to rock the country despite the April 25 quake, also known as the 'Gorkha earthquake', reaching nearly three months.
Following the Gorkha earthquake, 366 aftershocks measuring above four in Richter scale have been recorded by the Centre.
