The irate students began chanting slogans and took to vandalism as the college administration failed to start the exam even after the elapse of one-hour from the slated time i.e. 11am.
The exam has been postponed after the agitating students clashed with police.
According to the TU exam routine, the two-hour long examination was of English Thesis (50 marks).
“No seat planning was fixed till 11 am and students were not allowed to enter the classrooms,” said an examinee. “Tension broke out after the administration tried to conduct the exam after a delay of an hour.”
Ten colleges including Ratna Rajya, St. Xaviers, Patan campus had their exam center at the Padma Kanya.
