According to the EC, candidates of the Nepali Congress won the elections in Kathmandu-2, Chitwan-4 and Kailali-4 while CPN-UML candidate emerged victorious in Bardiya constituency-1.

NC candidate Dipak Prasad Kuinkel won the election in Kathmandu-2, garnering 18,200 votes against his closest rival Krishna Gopal Shrestha's 13,421. Likewise, UCPN (Maoist) candidate Lila Mani Pokhrel got 4,604 votes and Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal's Nabaraj Simkhada obtained 3,724 votes.

Of the 65,745 voters, 43,763 cast their ballots in the by-election in the constituency.

CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal had won the CA elections from Kathmandu-2 held on November 19.

Likewise, Nepali Congress candidate Pushkar Nath Ojha won the by-election by getting 14,784 in Kailali-6 against his rival UML candidate Maheswor Pathak's 11,959 votes.  NC leader Sher Bahadur Deuba had won the CA elections from Kailali-2 held on November 19. The constituency had 61,817 voters while 15 candidates in the fray.

Similarly, the EC said that NC candidate Ram Krishna Ghimire emerged victorious in Chitwan-4 by getting 20,318 votes. Ghimire's nearest rival Dil Kumari Rawal of CPN-UML got 17,272 votes while UCPN (Maoist) candidate Khusiram Pakhrin got 7,855 votes. Nepali Congress candidate Sushil Koirala had won the November 19 CA polls from Chitwan-4.

Likewise, CPN-UML candidate Shyam Prasad Dhakal won the election in Bardiya-1 by getting 16,996 votes against his rival NC candidate Sode Bista's 11,335. UCPN (Maoist) candidate Bhuwan Kumar Tharu got 11,031 votes and Govinda Prasad Tharu of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Loktantrik managed 1,596 votes out of 43,783 votes cast in the ballots.

Earlier, Bamdev Gautam of CPN-UML was winner from the constituency in November 19 CA polls.
