1 found dead, 6 rescued from Thorang La

There were seven trekkers in the group. Six of them were rescued by NA personnel from the altitude of 17,000 ft. The deceased has been identified as Rishi Barnwar of Birgunj.
A rescue team of nine army men left for the site upon learning about the incident.
The six trekkers have been ferried to Jomsom for treatment.
The dead body has been handed over to the local administration office in Jomsom, NA said.
