Police arrest 10 people for disorderly conduct

Police here have arrested 10 people on charges of last week’s vandalism in Manma, the district headquarters, in the course of a protest outside the District Police Office.
The protest was organised demanding action against those involved in the disappearance of a local Gita Kumari Jaisi Shahi.
Shahi along with her four-year-old son had gone missing on Thursday night. Police found them in Neplagunj on Saturday.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Arjan KC of the District Police Office, Shahi’s husband’s first wife had filed a police complaint against 11 people.
The accused have been detained for further investigation, said police.
