Nepal’s Covid-19 toll reaches 3,019 with three more death
With 150 new infections recorded in the past 24 hours, the active case count stands at 1,017, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.Post Report
Nepal on Monday reported three more Covid-19 related fatalities, pushing the death toll to 3,019. The country also recorded 150 new cases.
The overall infection tally has reached 276,056 with 1,017 active cases.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 272,020 infected people have recovered from the disease so far, 99of them in the past 24 hours.
Kathmandu Valley recorded 84 new infections in the past 24 hours. Of them, 51 cases were confirmed in Kathmandu, 22 in Lalitpur and 11 in Bhaktapur.
In the past 24 hours, 96 new infections were recorded in Bagmati Province, 20 in Gandaki, four in Province 1, ten in Province 2, 19 in Lumbini, one in Sudurpaschim.
As of Monday, 2,240,998 PCR tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 4,472 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the data released by the ministry.
Nepal had reported 77 Covid-19 infections on Sunday. Similarly, 79 new Covid-19 cases were recorded on Saturday and 125 new cases were reported on Friday.
