Nepal did not record any Covid-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population said on Thursday.
The country’s overall death toll due to the Covid-19 related complications stands at 3,010.
In the past 24 hours, the ministry said, the country recorded 107 new coronavirus infections, pushing the overall infection number to 274,488.
According to the ministry, 270,683 infected people have recovered from the disease so far, 78 of them in the past 24 hours.
The active case count stands at 795.
In the past 24 hours, 78 new infections were recorded in Bagmati Province, 12 in Lumbini Province, 11 in Gandaki Province, four in Sudurpaschim Province and two in Province 1.
As of Thursday, 2,179,047 PCR tests have been carried out across the country. A total of 5,536 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the data released by the ministry.
On Wednesday, Nepal had reported 87 Covid-19 cases and 233 deaths, 232 of which had been unreported to the ministry before.here.
