Very hot episode, indeed
The last episode ended with a promise of a very hot new episode. I am not disappointed. This is by far the best and the most happening episode I have watched on Himalaya Roadies. I was hooked to it. It really did challenge our contenders. And if it brought the best out in some (Milan), it also brought out the worst in others (Aayush).Abha Dhital

Wrong direction
Ambition and direction have been at the centre of this show from the very beginning. Judges often like to say that to survive on this show one has to be focused on the goal. It looks like the heat has gotten the better of our Roadies. They have come to a point where they can’t separate right from the left, just like they can’t tell right from the wrong.
Raise your hand if you laughed (a lot) watching yesterday’s episode. Especially when Aayush went all over the place, absolutely clueless about where he was and what he was doing. It was a total disaster. Oh Barsha, you should have kept calmer and Aayush, you could have waited for the instructions. Our Rabin was doing so well (he made such a calm and collected team with Richa, I totally loved the vibe), until he forgot to listen to her and almost drowned in the Karnali. Ashmita and Anish didn’t make a great team either. Ashmita has been consistently disappointing everyone and we really do think she is better off as our wrestler lady, meant for the rings. Milan and Priveer, well … what do I say about these men. I personally don’t like the direction they are taking in the show—you know imposing how they feel on others and ‘planning’ a lot. I am not a fan of their (over)confidence either. But what can I say, they did complete the tasks, and they did so in the best way possible.
The money task was all about trust and coordination, and if there is one thing we have learnt from the episode, these people do not share a bond that thrives on trust. Here, it’s every man for himself and nobody’s trying to hide it. Well, at least they now have Rs 310,000 in their bank accounts for the winner to take home.
Strength and speed
I love how Himalaya Roadies upped their game for the immunity task this time. It tested speed, it tested strength, but more importantly it tested endurance. Our kids had to endure against Tikapur’s heat and while everybody did an okay job, it really did bring out the worst in Ashmita, Barsha, and Aayush. It’s funny how everybody was planning to vote Milan out, justifying the decision against his “overconfidence” and yet somehow our big guy ended up giving the best team work in both the first and
second task of the episode. This guy may not be the fastest or the sharpest in the lot, but his strength has
saved him a spot in the next episode. There is a reason why I have a thing for our cutie. Anish, even if he
disappoints at first, always makes up for it as soon as possible. I want to be able to hate him or be mad at him
for once but, he just doesn’t give me the chance. He was definitely the fastest contender.
Gone girls and true faces
The vote out really did reveal many things didn’t it? For example, we always knew that Anish and Aayush are our most promising contenders, and could-be, should-be more foe than friends. Turns out Aayush is already conspiring against Anish. The war has (quietly) begun. Things will get exciting in the next episode, but perhaps not as exciting as it just did. I was hoping to see our girls, at least one of them up there in the top three. But they took me by surprise. All of them voted against all of them. Wow. Such solidarity. Such alignment of vision. Well Barsha and Ashmita are gone now. Barsha still walked out with dignity, but our wrestler lady is such a trouble magnet isn’t she? While she walked to the jeep (that would take her home) she made a brilliant speech on how women should get equal opportunities to perform and how she was not here for fame but to make a point that women should be out there—setting examples, uplifting one another. Too bad she forgot that she was on TV and everybody back home was watching who she wanted to kick out of the show. You go girl!
