Deepa Shree Niraula’s third directorial Chhakka Panja 3, which released its first song Pahilo Number Ma, has set its sight on releasing the film this Dashain and is currently on the second half of its shooting. Writer and producer Deepak Raj Giri confirmed that the film, like its predecessors, will hit the screens during upcoming Dashain festival.
Regarding the second sequel of the blockbuster franchise, Giri said that even though the characters, including their name and traits, remain the same, the film will tell a very different story which is in no way related to the first two films.
“The first film was about the manpower agency and how they dupe foreign employment aspirants; the second was also somewhat about foreign employment. This time around we are venturing to tell the story structured around our education system and its failures,” Giri told the Post.
Both the films are considered two of the highest grossing Nepali films till date.
If Chhakka Panja 3 releases, like its predecessors, on the day of Fulpati, the film will likely clash with the Saugat Malla-starrer Jay Bhole.
